How NSW Home Energy Saver Applications Work
Eligible customers DO NOT apply directly to the NSW Government for payment. NSW Home Energy Saver loan applications are processed through participating finance providers such as Brighte and Plenti. We are a Brighte and Plenti accredited vendor, helping customers review suitable solar, battery, air conditioning, EV charger, or switchboard upgrade options, prepare a quote, and guide them through the relevant application pathway.

Is the NSW Home Energy Saver loan really interest-free?
Yes. Eligible NSW households may access up to $15,000 with 0% interest and no loan fees. You repay what you borrow, usually over up to 10 years. Approval is still subject to provider assessment.
What about the $4,000 discount?
The discount is aimed at eligible lower-income households or concession card holders and is listed as coming soon. Many households may not qualify for the discount, but may still be able to access the 0% loan.
Who can apply for the program?
You generally need to own a property in NSW, either as an owner-occupier or landlord. Household income, citizenship or residency status, property type and product suitability may also be checked during assessment.
Can I combine this with the federal battery discount?
In many cases, eligible battery customers may be able to use federal battery support together with NSW Home Energy Saver options. We factor available incentives into your quote where applicable.
Do I apply directly to the NSW Government?
No. You apply through an accredited supplier and participating finance provider, like us! We can help prepare your quote and application pathway, then Brighte or Plenti assesses the loan application.
